Religious Affairs President: Holy Kaaba Maintenance Reflects Reverence for the Sacred House and Leadership’s Ongoing Care for the Two Holy Mosques

Makkah, April 12, 2026, SPA — President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais affirmed that routine maintenance of the Holy Kaaba represents a solemn expression of reverence for the Sacred House and fulfillment of its sanctity.
He said the extensive care devoted to the Holy Kaaba reflects a long-standing approach by the leadership in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors and in mobilizing resources to care for the holiest sites.
Sheikh Al-Sudais added that these efforts demonstrate the Kingdom’s commitment to the Two Holy Mosques, stemming from its religious and historical responsibility, and its dedication to providing high standards of care and maintenance.
He noted that such efforts help preserve the sanctity of the site and ensure a safe environment for visitors.
